What Our Members Say….

“LVA is the highlight of my week. Even after the toughest of days at work I still love to go to choir - my sanctuary.

The warmth and camaraderie is so powerful and these ladies have no idea how much they do for the mental health of many of us.

The delivery is professional but, oh my goodness, do we have a laugh.

I am proud to be part of LVA!.”

“January I walked into a bustling room a little anxious, apprehensive and had never sung before in my life! Over 5 years on and I’m still here, more confident, happier, better singing voice (I think) and I love my purple family. It’s fun, friendly, supportive, a great laugh and we take part in some amazing events all around Lincolnshire. I honestly would not be without LVA. Best choir ever! 💜💜.— Sarah M

“Not your conventional choir. We're not about hymn sheets & sensible shoes & you don't need talent just bucket loads of enthusiasm. We are a friendly bunch of like minded people, some crazy, some quiet but we all have fun & make friends. Definitely my happy place & if you want to feel part of an amazing group then LVA is the place to be. Come & join our purple family.”— Sharon U

“LVA is a happy welcoming group of lovely people where you are free to sing your heart out no matter your talent. Absolutely brilliant x”— Karen S

“I’ve been singing with LVA for a year now and how it’s changed my life for the better! The group is so inclusive and friendly and you meet people from all walks of life. Not only is it great for my mental health, I love the choice of songs and venues that I’ve been introduced to in Lincolnshire. Tara and Megan are fantastic musicians and performers, and most of all - lovely people! Highly recommend LVA to everybody. — Jessica

“I was at my lowest time when I saw a post about Lincolnshire voice academy, so decided I had nothing to lose and nervously went along to burgh le marsh one Thursday. Tara Meg and everyone there were so welcoming and I had an absolute blast. I left that evening on cloud 9 and have never looked back! Definitely my happy place!💜x.”— Rosemarie

“Choir, what choir, more like meeting up with friends and yes we sing and do performances, but there's no pressure just a great way to enjoy yourself,  doesn't matter what level your at, just come along and take part and yes have fun!!”— John G

“Best choir I’ve ever had the honour to perform with. Allowed me to express myself through music.

Recommend it to anyone.

Thank you LVA .”— Tracy

“Fantastic group of people singing for the joy of singing, really friendly & welcoming, I always leave with a smile on my face, great enthusiastic leadership & guidance from Tara & Megan, come along & join us in Sleaford, Lincoln or Skegness, you will have a good time!!.”— Jason

“If you just like the joy of singing this is the choir to join and you don’t need to be able to read music! Tara has a very relaxed and informal approach to learning the songs and the songs cover a wide range of genres, they could be anything from the 1940’s classics right up to current chart hits …. and anything else in between …. who ever thought we’d be belting out Nessun Dorma!

But most importantly it’s fun and friendly and a lovely way to spend an evening. Tea, coffee and Jaffa cakes come as standard .”— Lynette

“Singing, sharing, laughter and learning that’s what you get when you join LVA

You’re allowed to be yourself and everyone is welcoming and one big purple family ”— Claire A

“LVA is one of my happy places, the friendliness, the laughter, singing with others and performing together. Joyful.”— Mary
